The visual arts program at Woodlawn engages students in making, interpreting, and learning about art in a meaningful way. Students learn skills and concepts of art while growing as individuals. The art curriculum is designed to enrich core classes through integrated themes. Students experiment with a variety of media and technique. Students are encouraged to think and work like artists; focusing on the creative process and not the end product. Though we do end up with some amazing products!
